How compatibility is verified

The database is designed to answer only when we have evidence.

Evidence hierarchy

Direct model confirmation — the manufacturer explicitly names the model and product.

Manufacturer product page/manual — compatibility appears in official product documentation.

Manufacturer family rule — an official compatibility list or family rule covers the model.

Explicit exception — the manufacturer specifically states that a product does not fit.

No verified fit = no answer

We do not infer a fit simply from gallon capacity, visual similarity, marketplace seller claims, or an AI-generated guess. Unknown relationships remain unverified until evidence is found.
